On the day boss Nigel Pearson paid tribute to the travelling fans up at Scunthorpe Vital Southampton joins in the rallying call to get all saints fans back behind the team!
Ok, Lets not kid ourselves! It's tough times at St.Mary's and the general feeling is that we deserve better.
On Saturday we take on an improving Ipswitch side at St.Marys, and if saints play like how they have been then they will get thrashed again, there's no doubt about it! But, with a big following behind us it could change everything.
Every fan needs to think of the positives, like Andrew Davies who has become a saints hero due to his never say die attitude.
The fans have been great and aren't the reason for the poor form. It's not the fans fault that over 800 supporters left at half time against Plymouth.
A new manager takes his first full game in charge at St.Mary's on Saturday, he needs the fans and board behind him if he is going to achieve his maximum potential!
The bottom line is that Southampton Football Club is nothing without the supporters, and it's out duty to support team from first whistle to last.
COME ON YOU SAINTS.
