Walcott In Best Place

Nigel Quashie has said Theo Walcott is in the best place to learn his trade. The 16 year old hot prospect has scored 3 goals following 3 starts.

Quashie said: 'Theo can be whatever he wants to be in the game - it is entirely up to him. He is just 16 and has the world at his feet. He is going to be a top, top player but he is still learning the game and the media should leave him alone and let him get on with it. He does not need that burden on his shoulders. He is at an age where he should just go out on the pitch and enjoy his football and not worry about anything. To be fair, he is at the best possible club right now and under the best possible manager for looking after youngsters.'

He also compliments Rednapp saying he the ideal manager for Walcott. 'He is one of the best around when it comes to looking after youngsters and giving them an opportunity when he feels it is right. He has been one of the best managers in the country for a long time and this club has one of the best youth systems. That is proven with their track record of producing young players and the way they have dominated the youth league.'

He also says that the young striker has a great attitude and 'The way he conducts himself is absolutely spot-on.'

Smiles all round then, lets just hope we can keep him, although with Lowe, lets face it, you never do know.
