Baird Returning To The Nest?

Baird Returning To The Nest?

Talk over here in Northern Ireland is that Chris Baird may be on his way back to Saints. Bairdy hasnt had the best of times at Fulham, falling out of favour with Mr Hodgson.

Having played with Chris at Saints Youth, Saints Rreserve and Youth International level I think he would be an oustanding person to bring back to the club. Tough tackling, crisp passing and a desire and knowledge about the Saints and the fans that cant normally be bought with a player, makes him an ideal candidate.

He has struggled somewhat since his big money move, but has managed to captain N.Ireland since his departure. Even though he is relatively young, his experience in the Premiership and at International level can only help the young players at the club.

I may be starting a rumour here, but I can see him coming back. Anyone else?

I would be more than pleased for you, let`s hope you can bag him and get him away from the Cottage.
