'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Youth Given The Nod

Dont know what to make of this statement really. On one hand, brilliant, give the youth a go. After all these are the players the club is going to need to build its backbone on in the future. And if it worked for Man U, why cant it work for the Saints?

On the other hand though, we just about avoided relegation last year with a so called 'experienced' side. How well do we reckon these kids are gonna be, in what is probably the toughest league to get reward in?

If it all goes to plan, old Janny boy will come up smelling of the proverbial roses. If it doesnt go to plan, how long will the kids be given before they are given the shepards hook? Only time will tell I guess, but I hope it is a bold move that is rewarded in bundles.

Got any thoughts? Share them with the crowd.

Good to see, if they're good enough they're old enough.
