'If It's Football, It's Vital'

All Gone Quiet

You're probably thinking that its gone very quiet with the Saints, and you know what, you're quite right.

Whilst many clubs were revelling in the transfer window, and mouthwatering moves such as Robinho to Man City and Berbatov to Man Utd were on the cards, Southampton were unsurprisingly quiet.

Saints moved to sign Romain Gasmi on loan from RC Strasbourg, but im not getting too excited. Sit there a minute and I'll tell you for why. 1. Yet another youngster, 2. I've never heard of him and 3. He's friggin injured. Im sure he's a good player or why else would we sign him, but im gonna need time to be swayed.

In other news Jason Euell is injured for around two weeks after dislocating his shoulder.

And thats about it folks. To be honest I dont know what would bring some attention to our wee club. Maybe a promotion chase or even a league title push, but I cant see it. I'm just hoping for some news to be honest.
