Niemi Retires

Niemi Retires

Former Saints keeper decides to hang up his gloves.

I was searching through the net to see if there were any news stories that I'd missed over the past fews days and it appears I've missed this one.

Published on The Hammy End Chronicle it announces that the former Saint and probably one of the best keepers we have had has deciced to retire. Its a shame, and something that took me by surprise. Although the guys at 'Hammy' dont seem to be fazed by it.

Hope he finds something to do inside of football as he was a great player. Maybe he'll come back and coach at Saints?

You know what, I thought he was a great keeper, and that's coming from a Pompey fan!
