Wotton Trains With Brighton

Wotton Trains With Brighton

Paul Wotton will not be making the sentimental return to Plymouth Argyle on Boxing Day.

The 30 year old, who nearly made 400 appearances for his home club, Plymouth, will not be returning with the Saints team on Friday.

The versatile Wotton, who can play both in midfield and defence, has been training with Brighton & Hove Albion with a look to a season long loan.

The League 1 outfit will see Paul Wotton as an experienced player who can help them climb the table. The Seagulls are currently struggling in the relegation zone, and a player like Wotton could come in and steady the ship.

Wotton has played 14 times for the Saints this season and has struggled to cement his place in the first team. A player of his age is just seeking first team football and he may have to join Brighton to get that.

Yeah, can't say i'm disappointed by this. Wotton has not done a lot to cement his place in the side. Hope he can do well for Albion.
