Watford game postponed

Watford game postponed

Southampton's clash with relegation rivals Watford has been postponed.

Due to the adverse weather conditions that have disrupted much of the country in recent days, the decision was taken with the public's safety being the main concern.

The re-arranged fixture is set to be announced as soon as a date has been agreed between the two clubs.

Watford issued saintsfc.co.uk with a statement explaining the decision in full, and you can read it by clicking on the link below.

Bit of a shame really as I was looking forward to this one, but at least it means we'll be undefeated this weekend!

HAHA!!!! Yeah I know, I was gutted when I saw this today. Do you reckon it'll be a Tuesday night fixture? At least we can just re-use our already bought tickets.

I have a feeling it will be re-arranged for a Tuesday or Wednesday evening, which isn't necessarily a good thing as our record for winning mid-week games is poor to say the least!
