Wolves game switched for TV

Wolves game switched for TV

Saints' Head Coach Mark Wotte will be hoping for a very Good Friday following another change to his side's league schedule.

Southampton's match against Wolverhampton Wanderers has been brought forward a day, and will now be played on Friday 10th April, with a 15:15 kick-off time.

Sky have chosen to televise the match as Saints look to maintain their Championship status, whilst Wolves continue their pursuit of promotion to The Premiership.

The switch means Saints will have an extra day's rest ahead of the home game against Crystal Palace on Easter Monday.

However, it will be a busy week for Wotte's side as the re-arranged fixture with Watford is taking place on the 7th.

The reverse fixture between Saints and Wolves this season saw the visitors leave with all three points after winning 2-1 at St Mary's.

On-loan defender Alex Pearce scored Saints' goal, whilst Jason Euell was controversially sent off just prior to half-time.
