Schneiderlin misses out

Morgan Schneiderlin will miss Saturday's game at home to Preston after picking up his fifth booking of the season.

The 20-year-old picked up two consecutive yellows against Sheffield United and at last week's 2-0 loss at Bristol City.

The Frenchman has made 20 appearances for the Saints this season, and was a dominant player in the dramatic 3-2 victory at Deepdale earlier this season.

How badly do you reckon we'll miss Morgan's quality on Saturday???

Morgan has been in and out of the team all season and hasn't really had a consistent run for a number of reasons. I don't know if we'll feel his absence too much, and we have plenty of alternatives as replacements. Gillett, Gobern, Euell and Wotton can all do a job in the middle, and we even have Pulis who we're yet to see anything of! Don't get me wrong, I rate Schneiderlin, but I don't think we've seen the best of him thus far.

Looks like we didn't miss Schneirderlin too much as I predicted! Think he might struggle to get back into the side for the visit of Cardiff.
