Saints staff not paid

Southampton FC staff have been told today that they will not be paid their months wages.

But the staff have been told to work another week while administrator Mark Fry attempts to generate the cash to pay them.

Fry called for a meeting today to reveal the news to the staff and ask for another weeks work as he tries to get the funds.

In the meeting Fry said that he is still confident that the club will be sold shortly, with four very interested parties battling for the club.

There will be a meeting next Friday with the staff and Mark Fry to discuss payments and the situation.

SaintsAid, buckets of money collected, donations to the club? Sorry, but I thought all this was to pay the staff wages? Spoke to the dad of a player last night, he confirmed that the players were not paid either. Dark, dark days.
