Dyer set to join Swans

Nathan Dyer is set to join Swansea on a permanent basis.

The sale of Dyer could resolve the wage problem, with all Southampton staff not being paid this month.

Although the deal is not yet finalised, the sale of Dyer could give the club an opportunity to pay the staff and stay afloat for another four weeks.

It is believed that the Swans are set to pay £200,000 up front and £200,000 at a later date for the winger.

The deal will come with a sell-on if Dyer leaves the Liberty Stadium.

Manger Mark Wotte told the Daily Echo: "Nathan is an academy player who had his difficulties at Southampton but because of his speed and his technique he can be a valuable player in the future.

"We reached an agreement with Swansea which everybody was happy with and so wish him all the best.'
