Charlton Athletic vs Southampton

Bottom of the league Southampton travel to the league leaders Charlton Athletic this Saturday.

Both sides were relegated from the Championship last year, and it is the London outfit who have started the better.

The Addicks have won all of their eight games, sending them to the top, ahead of Leeds United on goal difference.

The Saints on the other hand, started with a ten point penalty, and have only managed to chisel off four points.

In another twist, Saints boss Alan Pardew will be returning to his old club in a bid to spoil the party for Charlton.

CHARLTON NEWS

Midfield pairing Nicky Bailey and Therry Racon are doubtful for tomorrow's fixture.

Recent signings Leon McKenzie and Luke Holden are both doubtful.

Deadline day deal Sam Sodje could make his Charlton debut tomorrow.

SAINTS NEWS

New signings Radhi Jaidi and Papa Waigo have been cleared with a work permit, and both could make their Southampton debut's.

Winger Lee Holmes could make his first appearance of the season, after coming through a reserves match unscathed.

Saints will again be without Graeme Murty, but Kayne McGlaggon could feature in Pardew's squad.
