'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Morgan's French Connection

The matchday programme highlights the effect that having Radhi Jaidi and Papa Waigo N'Diaye at Southampton is having on Morgan.

Morgan has forged strong friendships with the two teammates signed this season. The French language is just one of the ways that this friendship has been forged. Papa Waigo not being able to converse in English has meant that Morgan often acts as a translator for him.

'It's difficult for Papa not being able to converse, so I help him as much as I can' Morgan tells the on the Tuesday night matchday programme.

The 20yo is nearly half way through his contract with Southampton after joining the Saints at the beginning of last season. He is also very excited at the prospects now facing the club. He feels that the future is now looking bright.

'The cup tie against Portsmouth showed what a massive support Saints have got. It was just like being at home and playing Marseilles. The atmosphere gave me a tingle down my spine and for me that is what the game is all about.'

There is a real chance that he will soon be able to feel nights like that on a regular basis if we keep on improving.

Sounds like he is really at home here now. That is good news for us Saints fans. Next season he will be an even bigger stronger player and that can only be to our benefit.

There are a lot of people that have consistently reported Morgan as an unhappy player. This doesn't come across in this article. Keep performing and enjoying your stay Morgan and long may it last.

Great performance again from our young French star. Keep it coming Morgan. We love you.

He is now starting to look like he is enjoying his football. That is a good sign for anybody that still doubts him.
