Southampton FC - Ebay Warning

Southampton FC - Ebay Warning

Southampton Football Club has today made the following announcement. It is reprinted here as seen on the www.saints.co.uk news page.

The club has been made aware of this issue, and have already taken action after identifying one booking. The supporter concerned will no longer gain entry to the Final on Sunday week.

Any other supporter who is also identified runs the risk of having their season ticket cancelled and/or being banned from St Mary's. The selling of tickets via Ebay is illegal.

Any supporter who has a ticket(s) for the Final and who can no longer attend should return their ticket(s) to the Club where a new buyer could be found from a very long waiting list.

If you do have a ticket, please remember that British Summer Time starts on Sunday 28th March. So don't forget to put the clocks forward at 2am.

There is always someone somewhere trying to make a buck or two out of us supporters. I hope everyone involved in these scams gets caught.

There are quite a few who missed out on the tickets and they won't be amused. Sheer stupidity to get caught like that.

When rules are broken we act and so we should. The fact that this is one of our fans makes it doubly disappointing. Come on saints fans we don't need the bad publicity.

Greed is a moral problem I am told at school. These people have none have they? But when they see players earning more in a week than they can earn in 5years, who is to blame?
