Southampton Injury Crisis

Morgan Schneiderlin has become the latest star to get injured leading up to the final. He had to come off at half time in Saints 3-2 win over Hartlepool with a tight hamstring.

Puncheon, Seaborne and Otsemobor are cup-tied and are definite non starters. murty and Thomas are added to the no hope list. Antonio is a serious doubt.

Radhi Jaidi, Lloyd James and David Connolly are all struggling to get fit for this match. Even if just fit enough for this one match.

It is possible that players like Simon Gillett who have not played all season could be drafted in as emergency measures. Chris Perry could play as could youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Pardew has called for the spirit of the squad to help get us threw this predicament. There are a few injured and we seem to be getting them at a bad time. Even Adam Lallana who was injured for the Pool game is still a doubt.

Hopefully we will see Jaidi and Lallana play which would be something but Pardew also has the rest of the season to consider. We don't want to see a player totally break down because we forced him to play and miss him for the rest of the season do we?

I pray for some good news by the weekend. Lallana is hopeful and I an see Jaidi and Morgan making it. Hopefully. We will still be short of cover in case someone else suffers .

I hope we get some back because Carlisle will really be chasing us and if we aren't ready we will lose. Plain and simple but I think a pretty simple piece of logic.
