Lee Barnard Enjoying Partnership With Rickie

Since arriving from Southend Lee Barnard has struck up a very dangerous partnership with Rickie Lambert.

Lee scored his eigth goal for Saints after coming off of the bench against Brighton. In the twelve games that the pair have started both Lee and Rickie have scored seven apiece.

Lee is really excited by the prospect of playing with Rickie. The one time Spurs trainee thinks that Rickie is by far the best striker that he has played with.

Their partnership has not been going for very long, but they have already struck up a very good understanding. According to Lee, Rickie has got everything.

Good in the air he makes a perfect target man. He is good with his feet and scores a lot of goals. Lee reckons that having a partner as good as Rickie makes his own job a lot easier.

Lee started slowly when he arrived taking six games to score. Since then though he has not looked back with his goal at the Withdean showing how well he is now doing for us.

We have lots of hope for the immediate future with these two playing together. Long may the partnership flourish.

Though there is still some hope left, I believe these two plus Lallana and Puncheon will drive us back to the CCC. After that we will just have to wait and see.

I can't help wondering if you'd be up there challenging for promotion if it hadn't of been for that 10 point penalty!

I do think we would and tho only a very slim chance we still are. These two will fire us there if the manager allows them to.

These two will get us up to where we want to go. They will also get us back to Wembley in the next year. Either this in the play-offs or next in the JPT final when we become the first team to keep the trophy.
