Southampton's Lambert Earns PFA Award

Southampton's Lambert Earns PFA Award

Southampton Football Club's Rickie Lambert has earned the recognition from supporters across the division. This recognition of his talent was no doubt helped by a super class at Wembley in front of the television cameras.

The month started with Saints super show against Huddersfield. Rickie scored a superb hat-trick against MK Dons to add three more goals to his growing tally.

The Wembley super show let the whole country see his skills. A great target man and also an excellent provider of chances as well as a damn good finisher.

He has had a great season so far and he still has five games left in which he can add to his tally.

He will have to play better than he did against Orient if he wants another.

Everyone can have an off day. Lambert has performed miracles for us this season. I predict an even better season next time round as we improve yet further.

Rickie is the king of division one scorers. He is the best in my short time as a fan of the Saints.

Rickie is great. He has helped put the team back into the winning habit. Long may he reign.
