'If It's Football, It's Vital'

League One Winners And Losers

At the top we have some straight forward looking games. Norwich have possibly got a tricky clash with MK Dons but the Dons have not got a very good record against the top teams.

Leeds should be able to beat Southend and Millwall will be favourites to dispose of Gillingham. Both Huddersfield and Colchester who lead the race for 6th place have tricky games today. I can see both losing.

Charlton at Southampton will be hoping for a win but I am afraid Saints can edge it. They need only wins now to keep the pressure on the teams above.

At the bottom Tranmere go to Walsall who should get a home win.Wycombe and Hartlepool could fight out a draw as copuld Exeter and Leyton.

Oldham have a tricky game with Bristol Rovers and I fancy a sharing of the points here. Stockport will be hoping for a win at home to Yeovil but again I shall plump for the draw.

Finally we have a banker home with Brighton hosting Carlisle. Brighton are on a very good run and I don't see Carlisle doing much to stop it today.

So with resulys going as predicted the biggest winners could well be Southampton. First though they must win.

We win and knowing our luck the other two will as well. Even if we win today we have a big game at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday and they will not be laying down for us.

HT and we lead rather luckily 1-0. Terriers drawing 0-0 at Brentford and Colchester lead 1-0 home to Swindon. Stockport look like being relegated today as they lose 0-2 to Yeovil.

brighton draw level with Carlisle 1-1. Norwich draw level 1-1 with MK Dons. Sounds as though Dons have been doing a bit of kicking. Oldham leading 2-1 at home

Saints win 1-0 Charlton Brentford 3-0 Huddersfield Colchester 3-0 Swindon Millwall 4-0 Gillingham Leeds 2-0 Southend Norwich 1-1 MK Dons

Stockport go down as they lose 1-3 to Yeovil,Wycombe close gap slightly but look like they will join them soon. Southend are deeper in trouble as are Tranmere. Exeter and Orient both edge away from drop zone with draw.

Another good day for us but still the odds are stacked against us. With both Colchester and Huddersfield on 68 points they are so close that they can almost see the finishing line. We shall continue the fight on Tuesday.
SFc Forever
Not a bad day for the reds. Only Colchester spoiling it for us. A good night on Tuesday would start to make the table look very very nice.
stellarnw
Swindon are losing at home to Exeter with time nearly up.
SFC Forever
Swindon equalised in dying seconds.
