We Will Not Let Up

Southampton lost out in the race for 6th position even though beating Carlisle last time out. This will not bring a lessening of effort though.

Alan Pardew has gone on record as saying that he wants us to win our last two matches and in doing so improve our goal difference. We want to win 24 games and have the best goal difference in the league he has stated.

This at least, is still a possibility and as long as it is I can see us going for it. If we win today at Gillingham I can envisage a goalfest next week.

Even with a draw or defeat today I am certain we will see our team fighting to win in style at home to Southend. A good showing with a few goals will certainly send us into the close season with smiles.

It will be a bonus to see us win our last two matches as it will surely mean we have finished within 10 points of the automatic promotion places.

That single factor will show how much we have improved since the beginning of the season. Two wins will have us dreaming of a far better season next time around.

So if it was needed, Gillingham you have been warned.

Alan Pardew speaks with forked tongue. The man has lied yet again about his intentions. The only possibly good thing to come out of this match is the knowledge that we don't play if Rickie Lambert is out. Barnard and Connolly are two lightweight and neither deserves to lead the line.

I have a very bad taste in my mouth after this shambles. AP must have known what he was going to do, so why not give us a clue before we spend our money on tickets

How the bloody hell can we be told we will not let up and then play that team which we had yesterday? With all of the fans that went AP should have sent out a stronger side. James was poor and Semi was worse.
