'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Aaron Martin Rated Highly By Jaidi

The giant Tunisian centre back rates his teammate very highly. He feels that the youngster so highly that he thinks he could force his way into the first team and become a regular for the years ahead.

Radhi said on the OS, 'He is still young so he will have to focus on the technical things like his feet, but I think he has a great future ahead of him. He will just need to do more every time he gets a chance to play.'

As soon as I saw him on the training ground I spoke with one of the lads and said that Aaron is a good defender, he's got the qualities for that position because he is tall and can head the ball.'

Aaron has also been quick to go to the Tunisian for tips on the job which Radhi has been more than willing to pass on.

'He's the type of player who will come to us and ask questions and I try to explain to him that it's different for everyone, but I will always be there to offer him any advise that he needs.'

With the added competition Radhi feels rthat things at the heart of our defence are definitely looking up.

When someone with the experience of Jaidi says things like that about a youngster it does bode well. Let us hope that all of the talk is genuine and Aaron can continue to learn from our two first choice central defenders.

This boy looks as though he could become a very accomplished player. Being praised by the likes of Radhi means he must have something. He is very good in the air which will always be a plus.

i hope that Eastleigh manager gets some recognition because he recommended the lad to us. Looks good at the moment let's hope he carries on improving.
