'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Southampton FC released List

Lloyd James - Played a lot of games without making a position his.

Simon Gillett - Player who was too lightweight.

Oliver Lancashire - Always gave 100%. Too many errors made him a liability.

Chris Perry - Ever reliable who always gave everything for the cause. Thanks for your service Chris.

Wayne Thomas - Unfortunate with injuries but did well us this year.

Graeme Murty - Showed signs of class but injury
appears to have finished his career.

Jamie White - Another bad injury for Jamie. Sorry to see you go. Good luck Jamie!

Micheal Poke - Didn't work out, good luck in the future.

Jon Otsemobor - Simply not good enough.

Jake Thompson - Didn't work out.

Kayne McLaggon - Showed promise. Injuries held him back, good luck.

Tom Dunford - Another that came close without making the final step.

Jack Boyle - Showed promise without making the grade.

Offered new contract :-
Bartosz Bialkowski
Ryan Doble

David Connolly is in talks about a new contract.

Papa Waigo N'Diaye and Michael Antonio are both returning to their clubs after their loans expired. To both I offer my thanks on behalf of us fans for their play this season just finished.

Two scholars have also been offered professional contracts.
Ryan Tafazolli
Tony Garrod.
Good luck to both of you.

Along with the wishes of the club, I would like to add my thanks to all that are leaving and best wishes for the future.

I hope that there are a few more leaving. Good to see both rb's go, now we need to get two in to take their place. Be interesting who the CCC quality players are that we will be trying to lure.

not as many as I thought there might have been. I hope we can move on some more of the dross that is left. Sorry about young Jamie White and Kayne McLaggon who had both showed some good talent but to many injuries. Now we got to move on Pulis, Molyneux wotton etc.

Sad to say but the only players worth keeping from the released list were Murty and Thomas, one of whom was injury prone and the other on too much money, but wish all the players good luck in the future.
