Southampton Congratulates The T20 Cricket Team

Southampton Congratulates The T20 Cricket Team

Australia got a terrible start to the final being 8 for 3 at one time.

They managed to recover and finished on 147 for 6 after their twenty overs thanks in the main to Hussey.

England began by losing Lumb for two but then Keiswetter and Peiterson took the game away from the Aussies.

We finished 148 for 3 and fully deserved our victory. We also broke our losing run in finals having lost our four previous one day finals.

Overall we have finally played the game with complete abandon and totally destroyed the best that could be offered against them.

Now we would like to make it a double next month when we go to the Football World Cup.

I have really enjoyed the series and the way we have played throughout it means we have finally gained a trophy and deservedly.
