Southampton Unveil New Kit

Southampton Unveil New Kit

This is the kit which we will, all in our thousands, be rushing to St Mary's to buy. I am not overly impressed at first sight as I think the black socks spoil the overall impression of the clean white kit .

However, that said, I can accept it as our one off anniversary kit. 125 years of ups and downs brings us to this special moment.

The club will be having a special launch event for the first ever time. Saturday(tomorrow) the club will open the Chapel concourse for families to gather.

There will be entertainment and refreshments available. On your arrival the club will hand you a ticket and you will be called through from the concourse to the megastore in turn.

For those who would like a glimpse of the kit try the link below.

It has taken a bloody long time and I just hope that it was worth the wait. I do like the kit apart from the black socks, but will probably have it grow on me.

I hear you all saying, it will have to as you are gaining weight pretty quickly. Well thanks for that in advance.

Not sure if I like this or not. I like the general look but still not sure if the stripe is just on the front or if it is on the back as well.

I like the shirt and am not surprised by the strip as we were told ages ago it would be related to our beginnings.

A few fans that I know have it and swear by the quality and feel of the new kit. Say it is fantastic. Must take their word for it as I can't get mine yet.
