Southampton Auction Site Opens

Southampton Auction Site Opens

Further to the announcement of the new fund raising site, comes the opening of the auction site.

The Saints Foundation has informed us all that the official Saints Auction site will be used for the sole purpose of raising funds for good causes.

For entrepeneurs all over this could be a place where you are able to buy some football related goods that are rare.

All goods on this site will guaranteed authentic Saints memorabilia.

To purchase anything you need to already be registered on the Saints database. This is easy to do if not already done.

At the moment the site has a signed 09/10 Pennant. This has been signed by the 09/10 first team squad.

I will be watching this sale with interest as I have one of these from another auction held earlier before the end of the season.

There is also a signed JPT final Squad Shirt.

And finally at the moment there is a signed JPT Final Official Ball.

All 3 items are up for auction until July 30th 2010 at 1500.

The club stresses that all monies collected in these auctions goes directly to the Foundation to help save funds for our capital and community projects.

Makes sense if a collector of sports memorabilia to check this site out regularly. As I alreadyn have a fair share of saints related goods I know that I will watch with interest in case I see something I want.

The shirt is intersting. Wonder when the club will have a new strip on the site.
