The Lowe Down

The Lowe Down

Trio Voted Off!!

At the Southampton Football Club EGM directors Ian Gordon, Keith Wiseman and Brian Hunt were all removed from the board. Director Andrew Cowen issued the following statement to the official website:

"On a personal level I am very sorry to see Brian, Keith and Ian go. I have enjoyed their
company for the last ten years and I am sad to lose their input.

"However in a Board like that of a football club it is
vital that everyone supports the direction in which the Club is
travelling. Brian, Keith and Ian felt unable to support the
direction in which we have moved and prolonged disagreement has a
debilitating effect on the Board itself and those who look to the
Board to support what is happening on the ground. On this basis we
have made a reluctant parting of ways."

Keith Wiseman and Brian Hunt remain as Directors of Southampton
Leisure Holdings plc.

There will be an announcement tomorrow morning about the call
for an EGM of the PLC.

EGM date is set

Southampton Leisure Holdings have confirmed that the date of the EGM proposed by major shareholder Michael Wilde will take place on 3rd July.

I agree, I'm a Pompey fan.....Duh, look at my username, but I think saints deserve better than Lowe. I personaly wish you well. I never wanted you to go down as I love the rivalry. Good luck next season. There's still only 1 team in Hampshire though :P
