'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Danny Butterfield Happy To Be A Saint

The versatile right back played for 95 mins of the game at Farnborough. He told 'Saints Player' 'It was a good work out. Farnborough were a good test for us and I think Tthat the lads worked really hard for each other.'

'The Youngsters who played did well and that can only be good for the club, but the experienced boys also acquitted themselves well. So it was a good win and a good work out.'

So it is less than a week since he joined the club and already he feels that the club is heading in the right direction.

He added that he feels he is joining a club that is about to start tasting success again. He is looking forward to being heavily involved.

The full interview from Saints player can be seen here.

Sounds like this is another one of Alan Pardew's gems. If he is as good as some Palace fans think we won't be moaning.

I am loving it more and more. The team has seemingly sorted it's weak spot and Pards is still on the lookout to strengthen our squad.
