Saints Released Players

Lee Molyneux had his contract ended by mutual agreement. Still un-attached.

Chris Perry - un-attached. Chris did a good job for us and always gave us everything he had. Probably about to retire as he is now getting on for a footballer.

Graeme Murty - Trying to earn a contract with the Saints as he recovers from injury. Have not heard how his training is going so not sure whether he will succeed.

Wayne Thomas - un-attached. He is a big strong defender with a little habit of allowing players to get on the wrong side of him but always gives his all.I will never forget the goal he scored in the JPT cup at St Mary's.

Jon Otsemobor - has signed for Sheffield Wednesday and could still make it as a right back if he can learn to concentrate for the whole 90 minutes.

Lloyd James - Has a two year contract with Colchester. Another player who came through the rankls with us and always played to his maximum wherever we played him.

Simon Gillett - has signed a two year deal with CCC side Doncaster Rovers. Felt he was a little hard done by but time will tell as he was another that always gave his all.

Michael Poke - has a one year contract with Brighton & Hove Albion. Hope he can make it because he was never going to push his way past Kelvin and Bart.

Jake Thomson - has signed for Exeter City. Showed some promise but never came through when it mattered.

Kayne McLaggon - is on trial with Salisbury City. He has already scored a couple for the 'Whites' and should get a contract. Good luck Kayne.

Jamie White - injured at the moment. Has suffered a couple of really bad breaks and I hope that he can mend and find a club as I still think he can make it.

Oliver Lancashire - Has signed for Walsall. If he can curb his red cards he can still make a career out of the game.

Tom Dunford - un-attached
Jack Boyle - un-attached

The majority of the younger players have found a club which. Hopefully they will not come back to haunt us.

I liked Lloyd and hope that he does well for his new club.

It is a pity about Jamie because he has had nothing but bad luck for a couple of seasons now. I hope he can get back into the game when mended.
