Barnet V Southampton Pre-season

Hopefully it will be a game with no more injuries to concern us as the season looms ever nearer. The squad for tonight is rather large so it is anybodies guess as to who will play.

Saints going to the game are :-
Davis, Bialkowski, Forecast, Jaidi, Dickson, Fonte, Harding, Butterfield, Seaborne, Martin, Puncheon, Lallana, Holmes, Doble, Hammond, Wotton, Schneiderlin, Barnard, Lambert, Connolly, McNish, Mills, Racine, Tafazolli, Reeves, Argent, Holder-Spooner.

That is just about every walking member that we have. Good to see Adam and Puncheon in the squad but I wonder if the list is as accurate as it could be. On the OS it says neither is likely to appear until Reading at the earliest.

Barnet seem to be having a good pre-season and their last game at home to Charlton ended up with them winning 1-0. The winner scored by Glenn Poole in the 56th minute.

I am expecting a hard game tonight and Barnet could be boosted by two trialists. Striker Steve Kabba and winger Mark Marshall will be out to impress as they try to get contracts with the club.

Mark Stimson has just taken the reins at Underhill and has already begun the task of improving his squad. He may well have a good shout for promotion in if pre-season form is anything to go by.

Anyone going tonight? Be nice to hear how we look.

Judging by the twitter posts it wasn't too taxing. Nice to see that the young centre backs got a good run out. Looks as though the trialist had a fair game as well.

I went to the game, Oxlade-Chamberlain was fantastic... just didn't stop running and it looks like the team is slowly finding its shape. I heard briefly about a trialist but not much, ???
Red army comrade
Darren Carter who played alongside Hammond. Did well according to Pards.
