The Wright Stuff for Southampton?

Jermaine Wright, who was on loan at Southampton last season, has left Leeds United by mutual consent.

He is now free to join any club without the need for any compensation to be paid to Leeds.

Saints' boss Burley seems to rate Wright having worked with him at Ipswich. It now seems that Wright's most likely destination will be a return to the south coast.

Yeah he did ok for us, one of those player that did a job without you actually noticing he was playing. Could be a good signing, mind you we are in dire need of midfielders seeing on four of the current midfielders actually have contracts.

You'd have to wonder, if he was any good, why leeds have let him go.
