Southampton FC Auction Items

The Official site has been proving to be a resounding success as over £2,500 has already been collected.

The monies which go towards the new Saints Foundation Fund has been raised as fans outbid each other in their hunger for these specially made items.

Five new items have been added to the site for sale by auction. These will be up for grabs to the highest bidder until 1500 hours on 31st August.

The first item is this seasons special 125th anniversary home shirt. It has been signed by the first team squad and is sure to receive plenty of interest.

The second item is the away kit for this season. Again it has been signed by the first team squad and should also have several interested parties bidding.

The third item is a 125th anniversary ball which has also been signed by the first team squad.

There is also an additional home shirt and football signed as above, by the first team, celebrating our anniversary.

All in all there are five items at the moment to whet your appetite. All auctionable items will be available until 31st at 3pm.

The Saints Foundation is an extra arm to the successful sport, football and education which is being run. It gives a fresh commitment to the club's charity work and help to the local community.

As stated previously the sole aim of the Fund is to raise money for charity whill will aid several local causes. It helps to show football in a warm caring light and is well worth backing.

For the club to persist with this idea it must mean a lot of people are bidding. way more than I can afford too I expect but the shirt is one for posterity
