Pardew Is Confident We Can Manage

Tonight we will likely be without a few regulars and the big talking point is the two L's.

Apart from them we still have doubts about Mills and neither Morgan or Punch set the house alight on Saturday as they made belated returns to the fray.

With Oscar Gobern and Frazer Richardson both out for a while yet we could be excused for wondering when we will bring in some more players to either back the team or to strengthen it.

Pardew has told the Saints OS that the sad thing about Saturday was the fact we didn't win. He does feel that the team is strong enough to do so when our big two aren't playing.

There is a suggestion by his statement that we need to prioritise competitions that we can win, that a weaker team may be selected for tonight's game.

He admits that the fans have this game as a must win game and is expected to pick a squad for the game to do just that.

Time will tell who is selected but hopefully Jaidi will be rested as he needs more time at his age to get over games in my opinion.

Whoever we see in our colours I hope that we can make more of an atmosphere for tonight's game. The mood on Saturday was almost one of quiet expectation which when the team wasn't firing seemed almost impossible to change.

Hopefully the larger away support numbers for the Cherries will spur our fans to their best voices. The team needs us in full vocal chanting to help push them forward.

Enjoy the game those going and let us hear your verdict on a great performance and win that we will hopefully see tonight.

Well let us hope that he is close to being on the money. It did look at times as though the only thing missing was a natural goal scorer.
