Bolton To Visit St Mary's

Bolton To Visit St Mary's

Bolton Wanderers have former Saint Kevin Davies in their squad and as he is a regular for them he can expect to get a game.

Our record against the Trotters though fair shows them having a slight advantage overall. In fact we have not beaten them at home since November 1995.

We were both equals then as both were Premiership clubs. Now we have a chance to see whether we have the makings of a side capable of competing with better clubs than those in the Division One.

By the time of this game it is hoped that we will be at full strength. Adam and Rickie are near to full fitness and just need some matchplay to hone their edge.

Being at home I think this is a chance to gain a big scalp. We will certainly expect to see a fair gate and hopefully we can provide enough noise to drive the team on.

If Kevin plays let us hope that he does not do what our explayers normally do, and score. Would be nice to take a premier League scalp I must admit.

the Bolton outfit are going to be coming here looking forward to a win. Let's hope we can spoil their hopes.
