Are Saints Glad To Be At Swindon?

Since losing badly to Swindon at home in the JPT we have suffered another loss at home to Rochdale.

Today we are at Swindon in our first league meeting with them since they scored three at SMS in a game we just could not score in.

Last season I was at Swindon and watched what must have been our worst performance of the season as we lost 1-0.

Swindon were diabolical and leaving the ground I was totally dejected. Our frailties were all too obvious and the team was still some way short of what we have now.

On the other hand I thought our fans were remarkable that night. Again and again they tried lifting the team but nothing seemed to help.

Today we should have an even bigger support as Swindon have said we can buy tickets on the day.

We cannot possibly play as badly as we did last year so we must have a chance of turning the tables on the Robins and gaining revenge.

Lambert reckons he is about ready to start firing so just maybe we will get another away win to cheer us on.

The away support is guarenteed to roar the team on and I am today feeling far more confident in anticipating a much improved performance.

Time for us to stand together and show what we are about. Let us roar the team on and bring back the points.

I hope we weren't as diabolical as last season.

The game was open and I feel sure both teams will soon be climbing away from the lower reaches. Neither team made many chances but Charlie Austin managed to prod a loose ball home for Swindon to win. We hit the woodwork twice and were a shade unlucky not to get at least a point.

Goals win games - not misses.
