League One Games Tonight

Exeter on the other hand could climb above the Cherries if they were able to win. Both sides have shown a willingness to attack and score goals which should make this a very entertaining game.

Brighton v Brentford, on paper this should be a walk in the park for Gus Poyet's side which will keep them top of the league. The Bees will be hoping to keep it tight and possibly apply a sucker punch.

Bristol Rovers will be determined to win this to ease them up the table and closer to the play-off positions where-as Tranmere will be hoping to get something from the game to lift them from the foot of the table.

Charlton v MK Dons, This could be a tough dour struggle between two teams who are hankering after a place in the top six. Neither side is likely to concede much without a real scrap.

Colchester will fancy this as an easy three pointer with Dagenham having had a poor start to their first season at this level.

Hartlepool v Carlisle could be a game of few opportunities. 'Pool are again in the lower half of the league and will find Carlisle hard to break down whereas Carlisle may fancy this as a game that they should win.

Leyton Orient v Walsall is a scrap between two teams near the bottom of the table and Orient will see this as a must win game as they fight for survival.

Peterborough v Notts County gives Peterboro a chance to show their attacking instincts as they strive to regain top place. County have had a good start since winning promotiom from Div 2 and could spring a surprise if the hosts are not ready for them.

Rochdale v Huddersfield could easily finish all square as both sides are flying high at the moment.Rochdale will find Huddersfield a tough nut to crack and I feel the Terriers could just have the edge.

Sheff Wed v Oldham is another game that could go either way. Both teams have begun this campaign well though Wednesday have stumbled lately. For them to win they need to score early to boost their flagging spirit and to get their fans off of their backs.

Swindon v Plymouth will be a game that Swindon will expect to win. After a slow start they are now climbing up the table towards the tussle at the top. With their asperations this is the type of game they need to win.

Yeovil v Southampton will give the slowly improving Saints a chance to continue their improvement. yeovil have lost their last two matches albeit to two teams that are flying at the moment.

Only Huddersfield of the top six have an away game tonight. The three front runners are all at homme to what looks like slightly weaker teams, though of the three Bournemouth could face the toughest opposition.
