Lee Barnard Doubtful For Tranmere

The Southampton striker starred in the game at home to Bournemouth and has been a big plus so far this season.

Though he has not scored many goals, that is the one thing that has been missing from his performances.

His injury has made life very difficult for Nigel Adkins the manager as he will now only have Rickie Lambert as first team striker.

Not knowing what the surgery was for we can't tell how long Lee will be out for, if at all. All we can hope is that the injury heals quickly if it stops him playing.

Bit harsh that Garbo. Lee is nowhere near as bad as some I have seen.
