Saints Player Good Or Bad Value?

Saints Player Good Or Bad Value?

Browsing the various saints fans forums I have noticed that I am not alone in wondering why the service of late has become so shoddy.

One week we had the Barnet game on for almost 15 minutes. The last two Saturdays have seen Bournemouth as the games start.

I am paying along with several others to listen to our commentary covering our team as they play whoever.

Several fans of our club live abroad and for them this is as close as they can get to being with the team on matchday.

Many have emailed and used other forms of contact to complain but the reaction is abysmal.

Either they try to fob us off with some nonsense about someone else is behind this problem and it is beyond their control or they simply ignore us.

Even when contacting the club, who have to pay for the provision of the service, we get the same rubbish spouted at us.

The club is at present advertising a free trial of the Saints Player. I would have thought that it would have been in the club's interest to ensure the service is running smoothly before making such an offer.

I have noted that some fans are considering sueing for a breach of contract under the trade description act. Not a course I have yet considered as it is my club after all that would have yet more poor publicity.

Cancelling the contract and demanding a refund though is a course of action that could get the club to ensure a more satisfactory service is provided.

Especially if enough of us were to begin this course of action. Many pay for their service on a monthly basis so they simply cancel their direct debit.

I like the Saints Player and enjoy re-visiting the old videos as and when I need to. As editor of this site it is something that I find very useful.

However like a lot of fans I am becoming more frustrated by the seeming inability of our club to ensure the service paid for is delivered.

I like to listen to all away games and to the games that I can't make at SMS. I beseach the club to put their house in order and get this annoyingly regular occurance sorted.

Other clubs don't seem to have this problem so it can't be that difficult if you push the right buttons. Find the idiot and either show him/her the correct way to do the job, or get rid.

For most of the time it is good. The only problem is the commentary and that should be sorted out if more are going to use it.
