Southampton Belief Is High

The big central defender has featured regularly since Aaron Martin got injured and was in both of the games which Saints turned around after going a goal behind.

Talking to the Saints Player he said that the belief has been there since the start of the season but now it has got stronger as the good run moves the team up the league.

'The expectation has been big on us this season, but now that we've had a few decent results and strung a few good performances together, you can see that there's a spring in the step of a few of the lads.'

He was with Exeter when they climbed from the non-league and back into the football league and has played Dagenham a few times home and away.

He says that they are a direct side that will be tough to play against and that they have a good manager.

Dan also said that the defence would like to start getting some clean sheets to go with the performances.

He said that defenders pride themselves on being able to keep clean sheets and it is time to add to the total earned so far this season.

I like the cheerful sounds coming from the camp and hope that he is able to get his wish with another clean sheet coming our way with a win to garner the three points as well.
