'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Richard Chaplow Loan Extended

This means that he is available for the game against Shrewsbury in the first round of this seasons FA Cup.

That should also mean that if we want to sign him up permanently we should be able to do come the transfer window in January.

Otherwise surely Preston would have said that he is not allowed to play in the FA Cup in case they needed to recall him.

The player is in his second spell at our club and he has improved steadily with each game since his arrival as cover for Hammond and Schneiderlin due to their mounting total of bookings.

In the six games played since his arrival Richard has started in four and come on as a substitute in the other two.

It is now up to the player but there is every likelehood that he could be signed in January if the price is right.

Personally I would not be at all surprised if this small detail has already been agreed if we do indeed want him come January.

This shows that we are still looking at our options which has to be good.

With Chaplow on board we are now stronger than last season on paper so now it is time the team made the rest look on as we power upwards. Next three league games will soon enough tell us where we are.

This is good news and he could take a leading role in our push.

Is he gonna be another cheap buy? Doesn't look as though we are getting many good players in to boost us for next season.
