Southampton Given Cheltenham At Home

Having Cheltenham at home should on paper at least give Southampton a chance to meet a big team in the next round.

The two teams have never met in direct competition except for in friendlies during pre-season training in recent years.

An interesting possible meeting is that of MK Dons with a possible tie at AFC Wimbledon. If both teams win their respective replays this could easily be one of the games shown on tv.

AFC Wimbledon started life after Wimbledon FC became MK Dons after moving from Plough Lane to Milton Keynes against the wishes of many fans.

Brighton have an interesting tie against FC United of Manchester who have formed recently as an alternative to Man Utd in response to the Glazers and how the club was being run.

Bournemouth have a tricky game at Notts County and will do well to win up there in Nottingham. Posible draw with a far better chance at home.

Top non-league team Crawley will be at home to Swindon in a very exciting looking match-up. Crawley have spent a lot considering that they are not in the top four leagues.

Looking at the draw it is possible that most non-league teams will get knocked out of this seasons competition.

This is good news as it should mean we get into the draw for round three. Not counting my chickens but we are getting better as the games go by.
