Jose Fonte Restless For Return

Jose Fonte Restless For Return

Our giant central defender was forced to sit out the Brentford match having earned his fifth booking and getting a one match suspension.

He was very disappointed to see us lose and said that a couple of mistakes cost us dear. The pain felt by the team was felt also and he is determined that we don't allow a repeat.

He told the OS, 'We need to put the mistakes from Brentford right quickly, we made it difficult for ourselves, and we have to make sure that does not happen again.'

He added that he felt certain that we can reach promotion this season and possibly go straight up to the Premiership.

For me that is perhaps asking this set of players a bit too much but we can change the squad and it is always a possibility on paper.

I just hope, and expect us to get back winning against Walsall with a couple of extremely tough games to follow.
