No Players Bids Reported By Saints

The fact that we have heard nothing though does not mean that none will be forthcoming once the transfer window opens.

Talking about Adam Lallana and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Nigel stressed that no bids have come in for either of them.

Alex he admitted was destined for good things and he has been very impressed by the way Alex has started.

He is a talent and one for the future and will be courted by some of the bigger clubs and we have high hopes for him.

Alex and his family have met with Nigel and the club and they have been told that there will be clubs looking to poach him as his reputation grows.

He is very valued by the football club and Nigel has stressed the importance of not asking Alex to do too much too soon.

The simple fact that Nigel has made contact and has spoken with the family shows to me that we are hopefully treating our youngest and possibly brightest young star in a way that will nurture his blossoming talent.

I believe he will stay as I believe that Adam will.
