Saints Have Nearly Fully Fit Squad

Saints Have Nearly Fully Fit Squad

Lee Barnard and David Connolly are both in full training as is Frazer Richardson.

Frazer was bought from Charlton during pre-season and will be relishing the game at his old haunting ground.

Nigel Adkins has been sweating on injuries and suspensions in recent weeks, but the lack of games due to the bad weather could eventually come as a blessing in disguise, if we can improve our consistency.

Though Saints may have a fixture pile-up to contend with, added to with their problem increased by the fact that so many are away from home, they do at least enter the busy festive period with a fit squad.

This plus any additions to the squad could in theory turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

With Richard Chaplow also back to fitness it could be a much stronger team that appears at Charlton with a bench that can offer alternatives if they are deemed necessary.

Al in all it leads to a boosting of our hopes that we may see a far more spirited performance than the last one at home to Brentford.
