Guly Leads Southampton To Second Place

Many fans had been questioning the appearances of Guly do Prado in the starting eleven but today he gave us a glimpse of what he is being selected for with two good goals.

Guly missed a couple of great chances, before netting his first. We were tearing our hair out with frustration but finally he gave us what we have been pleading for with a brace to show us the way forward.

After his first he still missed a good chance but once he had scored his and our second he had won over several doubters.

When he was subbed well into the second half the fans gave him a standing round of applause which must have cheered him as he left the field.

With our wingers again showing up well and Fonte looking his imperious best at the back we ended up running out clear winners.

Even so, Exeter did manufacture some good chances, and Kelvin Davis, who was captain for the day, made a couple of excellent saves.

Everything is looking up at the moment but we need now to do this away from home as well.
