Adkins Pleased With Cup Progress

Adkins Pleased With Cup Progress

In an open game of football Saints were more than a match for their Premier League rivals and deservedly won by two goals to nil.

Talking to the 'Saints Player' nigel said, 'was it an upset? Wellit was a Premier League team we just went and played. They made changes to their starting eleven and we made eight changes from the last team we played in the Football League.'

'Both squads have been utilised and I was delighted we set about ourselves against an exceptionally good team who have been magnificent for football.'

Nigel went on to say how good the support was from the fans and how he was pleased that the team gave them plenty of entertainment.

He said how pleased he was with Aaron Martin and Bialkowski as both made telling parts in the course of the game.

He added that everybody has a smile on their face and the whole squad is singing from the same songsheet.

All in all nigel Adkins sounded more than a little pleased with the way the game panned out.
