Southampton Fans Say Hands Off Our Alex

Southampton Fans Say Hands Off Our Alex

This is most definitely not the news we want to hear right now. In fact it isn't at any time if truth be told.

Alex has taken his chance this season and made tremendous strides forward. This has shown us that we have a remarkable talent that needs to be nurtured and developed further.

The possibility of his leaving has been discussed almost non-stop of late but obviously all Saints fans would much prefer him to stay with us, and help us climb the leagues, and hopefully to the top.

At the end of the day though it will depend on what the player wants. With the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United all talking about putting in a bid, it would be surprising if the lad doesn't have his head turned.

Please decide you want to stay with us Alex and help us into the Championship at least.

I just wish we could find out either way because I'm so tired of seeing the same old thing everytime I look for news about the Saints!

I agree with you there. I will be glad when the window is closed so we know who we have to finish our season with.

Surely Mark will tell his son that he is better off where he is for now. Let him continue to develop.
