Nigel Adkins Seeks A Win At Exeter

The game will be a test of Saints strength after the high power strength sapping performance against Manchester United on Saturday.

Nigel, talking to Saints Player, said that he had seen paul at a game recently and that he thought our passing game would not be as effective at St James Park.

Nigel also said that while this will make things more difficult he still wanted his players to contue the passing style that we are becoming known for.

There is more than one way to pass the ball he stressed. He wants his team to adapt to the ground and play as necessary to get the win.

We have to be able to adapt our passing game and we must strive for the win. Easy to say but at the same time we need the win more than the pretty football.

For me this looks like a game where someone of Schneiderlin's ability could prove to be very usefull with his ability to find the good long ball pass.

With memories of last months 4-0 win at St Mary's in mind Nigel stressed the importance of understanding that this could be a totally different type of game.

A win is a win and Saints fans will be happy enough with that as a result.

I would be getting rather worried if he wasn't after a win. Nothing new there though it is time we notched up another win as we have gone three games without one.
