Wright Signs For Saints

Jermaine Wright has now signed a 2 year deal at Southampton. The midfielder, who enjoyed a successful loan spell with the club last term, had joined up with Saints for pre season earlier this month prior to signing a contract.

The player has worked with Burley before at his old club Ipswich. Wright moves to Saints on a free after he was released by old club Leeds United earlier in the summer.

Burley has clearly been keen to add to a weakened midfield after Matt Oakley decided to leave the club.

good player, he did well for us at portman road, is he as unwilling to go in for tackles with you as he was for us?
