Southampton Sign Oldham Player On Loan

Southampton Sign Oldham Player On Loan

21 year old Dale has been a key member of the Oldham set-up and has played thirtyseven times this season scoring ten goals in the process.

Dale is a gritty midfielder who can win the ball and score as well. He is also able to find a pass that should help our link up play.

Nigel Adkins is reported as having been watching Dale for several months and now he has finally got his man. It may only be a loan but if the move works out I can see this becoming a permanent deal in the summer.

His arrival will add competition for the midfield places and with Morgan Schneiderlin out injured he will also be good cover.

Dale has played at St Mary's with his parent club and will know that we like to play football. Like us he also played on Tuesday night.

Luckily he will now have a week to get to know our other players as he settles in, and gets used to our way of doing things.

Welcome to Southampton Dale and we hope that you enjoy your stay with us enough to earn a contract and to want one.
