Nigel Adkins Talks

He has said that Dale first came to his notice when Oldham played Sc*nthorpe in the Carling Cup.

He has openly stated how pleased he is with the acquisition of the player and rates him very highly.

He also said that he has brought him here to play. He didn't try to fetch him in during the January window because we had a sufficient number available in his position.

With Morgan Schneiderlin still out long term it appears that now is deemed a good opportunity to see how Dale will fit in to our way of playing.

I have a hunch that Dale will still be here next season if he does well. It will be interesting to see how he fares as it will help us form an opinion on where we stand with Nigel and his thoughts on how to improve our team.
